Following completion of a high fidelity OO layout and also a N gauge layout, we have recently embarked on an innovative new layout comprising both gauges.

We have just completed the baseboards and bus wiring. Next up is track laying, more wiring and scenics. On one side of the layout there will be a depiction of the village and station of Wherwell, Hampshire set in the 1950s. Whilst on the other side is more in our imagination, compriding a modern day mainline station with a preserved steam railway alongside.

This combined layout will be called Wherwell and Barton upon Avon reflecting the two dimensions just outlined. We are using the end pieces of the oval to depict a wide variety of engaging cameos too.
